Kids – Holidays

House of Jules offers a comprehensive program of classes each weekday from 3.30-5pm during the various school holidays. Special weekend classes are also offered on occasion.

These are very popular and offer excellent value for money. Holiday lists are put together several weeks before each holiday to allow plenty of time to plan and make bookings. Subscribe to the newsletter if you would like to be put on our email list. You will automatically receive a newsletter each month so you always know what’s on.

House of Jules Holiday Classes are a wonderful way to encourage a child’s creativity, exposing them to a wide range of media, techniques and Julie’s extensive knowledge and experience teaching children (20 years).

Please contact the studio if you wish your child to join one of the classes.

Classes are held in the January, April, July & October School Holidays.

JANUARY 2012 SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASSES

Thurs 5th SUMMER TILE: Paint and glaze a ceramic tile inspired by the holiday season.

Friday 6th MIX IT UP: Create a fun self portrait on canvas using mixed media and your imagination!

Mon 9th EASY CARVING: make your own design & then print it onto cards.

Tues 10th NATURES DELIGHTS: Use wet and dry media on canvas board inspired by nature.

Wed 11th CERAMICS: paint and glaze a mug, plate or bowl.

Thurs 12th GLITZ & GLAM: paint & decorate a fabulous wooden frame.

Friday 13th MONSTER MADNESS: Create a fun canvas using paper collage.

Mon 16th CRAZY CARDS: Make several cards using different media.

Tues 17th PATTERN & PAINT: paint a canvas in fluid acrylics.

Wed 18th BEADING: make your own jewellery pieces using glass and other beads.

Thurs 19th GLASS LANTERNS: Make gorgeous lantern using a glass jar, wire, paper & paint.

Friday 20th CERAMICS: paint and glaze a mug, plate or bowl.

Mon 23rd GOING POTTY: Decorate a terracotta pot with paint and other embellishments.

Tues 24th MINI FRIENDS BOOK: Make a small accordian book to impress your friends!

Wed 25th DRAWING: Use charcoal, pastel and other media to draw a simple still life.

All classes are 3.30-5pm, $17 pp/per class, please book in advance to ensure a place.
